Who We Are
Built by Workday Experts. Every Client Feels the Difference.
We are a specialized Workday Services Partner founded by former Workday Area Leads who believed the industry deserved something better: a firm with the resources and expertise of a robust practice, delivered with the white-glove touch and feel of a family-owned business.
Our Foundation
The Solution Architect Mantra, Applied
Solution Architects Group was founded on a simple conviction: that specialization, accountability, and genuine care for people produce better outcomes than scale for its own sake. As former Workday practitioners dedicated to delivery excellence, our founding partners designed a firm that would consistently live up to that standard for every client on every engagement.
What that means in practice is a firm where senior resources stay on engagements, where institutional knowledge is shared rather than hoarded, and where the relationship your team builds with ours does not reset every time a project closes. We are not trying to be everything to everyone. We do one platform, and we do it exceptionally well.
We believe deeply that if we take care of our people, they will take care of our customers. That belief shapes how we hire, how we staff engagements, how we compensate our team, and how we show up for our clients every day. It is also why every key leader at this firm holds an equity stake in it. Ownership changes everything about how people show up.
Workday-Exclusive Depth
One platform. Complete coverage. Every resource, methodology, and process we have built exists solely to deliver exceptional Workday outcomes.
People First, Always
We invest in our team's growth, well-being, and professional development. When our people thrive, our clients experience the difference on every engagement.
Accountability Without Exception
We own outcomes, not just deliverables. Named resources. Clear commitments. Transparent terms. The same standards we set for our clients, we hold ourselves to.
White-Glove Relationship
The feel of a family-owned business. You know our team by name. They know your environment. That continuity and personal investment is something our size makes possible by design.
Ownership Culture
Built on a Partnership Model
Every key leader at Solution Architects Group holds an equity stake in the firm. That is the exception in the Workday ecosystem, not the rule, and it is entirely intentional. When the people responsible for your program have a personal and financial stake in the company's reputation and your success, the incentives are fundamentally different. There is no short-term thinking, no disengaged middle management, no reason to cut corners. There is only the long game, and we are all playing it.
Skin in the Game
Equity partners do not move on to the next client when things get hard. They own the outcome the same way you do. Every delivery decision, every staffing call, every escalation is made by someone who has a direct stake in getting it right.
Dramatically Lower Turnover
The leaders and architects you meet at the start of an engagement are the same ones accountable at the end, and the same ones you can call a year later when your environment evolves.
Long-Term Vision by Design
Owners think in years, not quarters. Our partnership model means every strategic decision, from how we hire to how we build methodology, is made with a long-term view of the firm's reputation and your success. That alignment is structural, not aspirational.
Strategic Leadership
Managing Partners
Zach and Tyler co-founded Solution Architects Group with a shared belief that the Workday ecosystem deserved a firm built differently. What followed was the rapid growth of a practice that became one of the more sought-after Workday Services Partners in the ecosystem. They continue to set the firm's strategic direction together, owning key relationships with Workday and its ecosystem partners and driving the vision for where the firm is headed.
Zach Caveness
Founding & Managing Partner
Zach co-founded Solution Architects Group after more than five years as a principal Workday consultant and solutioning architect across multiple Workday Services Partners. That practitioner foundation gives him a precise understanding of what clients need from a consulting firm and what separates firms that deliver from firms that overpromise. At Solution Architects Group, Zach leads the firm's offerings, strategic partnerships, and revenue strategy, keeping the firm differentiated and positioned for long-term growth in the Workday ecosystem.
Tyler Caveness
Founding & Managing Partner
Tyler is an entrepreneur with a track record across software, professional services, and financial services, industries that share a common requirement: the ability to scale complex, relationship-driven operations without losing quality or accountability. He entered the Workday ecosystem over a decade ago and helped grow two Workday practices before co-founding Solution Architects Group. At the firm, Tyler's priority is the end-to-end connection across operations, strategic partnerships, service lines, and growth initiatives, ensuring that what the firm commits to clients is backed by the infrastructure, talent, and execution capacity to deliver it.
Client Relationships
Client Account Executives
Our account executives are the primary relationship owners for our clients, ensuring every engagement is solutioned, supported, communicated, and delivered with full accountability.
Kyle Wheeler, CPA
Partner | Client Account Executive
Kyle brings a rare combination of financial acumen and deep Workday platform expertise to every client relationship he owns. A licensed CPA, he spent years as a certified Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning lead before moving into an account executive capacity, giving him an unusually sharp ability to translate complex financial requirements into practical Workday solutions. Kyle's clients benefit from working with someone who has built and configured the system they are operating, not just sold it.
John Johnston
Partner | Client Account Executive
John is one of the most technically credentialed integration practitioners in the Workday ecosystem, with deep expertise across Workday Integrations and Extend. John's time spent as a principal integration lead gives him both the practitioner's command of the platform and the enterprise program perspective that comes from delivering at scale. When a client's engagement involves complex connectivity, orchestration, or custom application development inside Workday, John is the resource other teams wish they had.
Jimmy Keene
Partner | Client Account Executive
Jimmy brings more than 20 years of experience leading organizational transformation and governance initiatives at large, complex enterprises. His background spans strategy, operating model design, and executive stakeholder engagement across industries, making him an exceptional advisor for clients navigating not just a technology change but a broader organizational one. Jimmy's clients get a partner who understands that the hardest part of any transformation is rarely the software.
Delivery Leadership
Area Leads & PMO
Exceptional delivery is not a single role. It is a system. Our Program Delivery leaders provide the structure, governance, and staffing precision that keeps every engagement on track, while our Domain Area Leads set the technical quality bar across every Workday module. These two groups operate in continuous partnership: Area Leads define what great looks like, Delivery leaders ensure it is achieved, and together they make certain the right people are matched to every commitment we make.
Domain Expertise
Nate Allen
Partner | Area Lead: Financials Spend, Financials Revenue, Projects/PSA
Nate is among the most experienced Workday Financials practitioners in the ecosystem. With over seven years of full-platform Financials expertise and dozens of completed implementations spanning Financials Spend, Financials Revenue, and Projects/PSA, he has worked across the full complexity range of what the platform can do. Clients deploying or optimizing the Financials suite work with an Area Lead who has seen virtually every configuration challenge the module presents and knows how to solve it.
Sabrina Wood, PhD
Partner | Area Lead: Peakon, Talent, Learning, People Analytics
Sabrina brings a dimension to Workday talent and people strategy that few practitioners in the ecosystem can match. Holding a doctorate in organizational psychology and having served as an adjunct professor for over a decade, she grounds her Workday practice in how people and organizations actually change and grow. As an ecosystem thought leader in Peakon, Talent, Learning, and People Analytics, she translates the science of organizational behavior into configurations and strategies that move the needle on adoption, engagement, and workforce outcomes.
Aurora Kennedy
Partner | Area Lead: Core HCM, Security
Aurora has spent over a decade in Workday in a principal capacity, completing more than 50 implementations across sectors and engagement types. Her command of Core HCM and Security is built on a breadth of client experience that is genuinely rare: she has configured the foundational layer of the Workday platform more times, and across more organizational contexts, than nearly anyone in the ecosystem. That depth translates directly into faster issue resolution, smarter design decisions, and configurations that hold up long after go-live.
Victoria Nemmer
Partner | Area Lead: Benefits
Victoria brings over a decade of Workday consulting leadership to her role as Area Lead for Benefits, with more than 40 implementations under her belt, many of them among the most complex deployments in the ecosystem. What makes her a uniquely effective partner is experience on both sides of the table. After building her consulting foundation from within Workday, she stepped into HR technology leadership roles on the client side, spanning financial services and tech, before returning to consulting. That firsthand understanding of what organizations actually experience when they are the ones going through an implementation makes her an exceptional advisory partner for organizations navigating benefits complexity, not just a technical one.
Aubrey Duplease, CPP
Partner | Area Lead: Payroll
Aubrey is one of the most sought-after Workday Payroll experts in the ecosystem. A Certified Payroll Professional with over 13 years of Workday Payroll experience, she has led payroll transformations and compliance initiatives for organizations across a broad range of industries and workforce structures. Her expertise extends well beyond configuration: she understands the regulatory, operational, and organizational dimensions of payroll in a way that makes her invaluable both during implementation and as a long-term advisory resource.
Program Delivery
Steve Sledge
Partner | Head of PMO
Steve brings over 20 years of experience in organizational effectiveness, program management, and strategic planning, with a career that spans service in the U.S. Army and senior leadership roles across the Fortune 500. As Head of PMO, he applies that discipline to every engagement the firm runs, building and maintaining the governance frameworks, delivery standards, and risk management practices that keep complex Workday programs on track. Steve's background means our clients get a PMO function that treats rigor as a competitive advantage.
Russell Sullivan
Partner | Head of Workforce Management
Russell brings over a decade of Workday engagement and practice leadership experience across Big 4 firms and boutique consultancies, as well as direct systems management experience within Fortune 500 environments. As Head of Workforce Management, he oversees staffing strategy and resource allocation across all service lines, ensuring that every client engagement is supported by the right people at the right level of seniority. His cross-firm background gives him a clear-eyed view of how delivery organizations succeed and where they typically fall short.
Teryn Caveness
Partner | Head of Managed Services
Teryn leads the firm's Managed Services practice, bringing a focused expertise in both Workday AMS delivery and the broader discipline of talent management. With nearly three years of dedicated managed services experience and a decade of talent management leadership across multiple firms, she understands the full lifecycle of what a client needs after go-live: sustained support, proactive optimization, and a team that stays invested in their environment long-term. Teryn built the operational model for how the firm delivers on its AMS commitments.
